HIRING 

We realize that our agency is only as good as our Home Care Aides. That is why we use a stringent screening process when selecting Home Care Aides. Online applications, tests and interviews help determine if prospective Home Care Aides have the right make-up to be companions. In addition to looking at Home Care Aides’ experiences, our insured Home Care Aides must stay clean due to random drug testing. To give you peace of mind, they also need safe driving records, and most of them have clean, maintained vehicles to use (if the client does not have one available). Since we are committed to hiring only compassionate and experienced Home Care Aides, rest assured that you will be in good hands, even on short notice. We also pride ourselves on being a smaller home care company with a large pool of Home Care Aides. We provide a personal touch and the best quality care in the area.

TRAINING 

Once we identify a qualified Home Care Aide, we enroll them into IPCed, a nationally recognized training program for personal service agencies. This program, developed by IPCed Training Solutions, allows our caregivers to enhance and refine their existing skills. In addition to 40 hours of training access, caregivers also receive training from a nurse and the owner. This way, our trained caregivers successfully help clients’ enjoy life despite any existing health issues. Our team has in-depth knowledge and experience with a number of health issues, such as Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia, Cardiovascular Disease, Respiratory (COPD and Asthma), and Diabetes, and we understand the importance of maintaining one’s health with dignity and independence. Due to rigorous training, our caregivers are well equipped to handle situations that arise.

MANAGING 

We utilize a cutting edge software called AxisCare for scheduling and matching clients.  This system enables our organization to most efficiently, and precisely  serve our clients.  We understand the importance of  matching clients’ preferences, personalities and needs with our large pool of well-trained caregivers. Caregivers also use this app to clock in and out. Care notes can also be written in the app and/or a log book so there is good communication between families and caregivers.
